  The Quartones performed at our wedding on 21 April 2012 and in terms of delivering everything we had looked for, they exceeded our expectations. One of our requirements was for a band that 'looked the part' i.e not only did they play well but they looked sharp. What we got was 4 very well presented, polite, professional and personable young men, all very talented musically. In terms of performance they were excellent with a wide repertoire which covered all of our requests and more. Not only were we delighted with their performance, but all of our guests were hugely impressed and never stopped remarking how good they were. The Quartones performance helped to round off a perfect wedding . It is hard to single any of them out, however I dealt with James Hulme in advance of and at the event and he is an extremely polite and charming young gentleman. Our biggest concern when it came to booking artists for the wedding was that it took place in a remote part of Northern Scotland. Alive Network were able to allay our concerns with assurances that the artists would be there and in the event of an emergency they had contingency plans to provide replacements. I have to say that the service from Alive Network was from start to finish first class. They delivered exactly what they said they would deliver and they were on top of the whole booking process from first contact through to delivery on the day. I would not hesitate to use them again as experience shows that what they say is what you get, nor would I hesitate to recommend them to anyone. If you are looking for a first class service backed by guarantees - look no more.

  Dear The Quartones, I am writing on behalf of the Production Team for BBC3’s series, Young Talent. We’ve finished recording all of the episodes now and have left the glorious weather of Suffolk for the doom and gloom of rain in Manchester. We just wanted to say a huge thank you for all of the help and assistance you gave us when we were preparing for filming and during the filming process. It sounds like a cliché but we honestly couldn’t have done it without you. We have been given a provisional transmittance date for the series for January 2012 so look out for any advertising with the lovely George Lamb on BBC3 around then. We wish you all the best of luck with your work, hopefully without our constant interruptions you’ll be able to get more done. Many thanks again and don’t worry, we’ve got all of your details so look out for us next year when we’re in the middle of Series 4, you can run but you can’t hide!!!   The Quartones were awesome. We didn’t have to do anything, not even choosing our repertoire (something you can do) as we didn’t have specific requirements about the songs. The Quartones came on time, set up within minutes and knew what they were going to play. All the audience loved it, the music was smooth and exciting as the same time. The sound was perfect as the guests didn’t have to shout to be able to hear one another. So a big thank you to those 4 handsome men in black suits. We wish you lots of success. Thank you also to Alive Network for making the booking process smooth and easy.

  We booked the Quartones to perform at a party that we had been promising our selves (and friends) for years………I described it as a” Count your Blessings Party” and to find the Quartones to perform was yet another blessing! They played 2 sets for a total of 2 hours during the evening. They generated a lovely party atmosphere and we were inundated with lovely positive comments from guests that were equally as impressed as we were! The Quartones arrived on time, and set up almost unnoticed, blended in and were thoroughly professional throughout the evening. Thank you so much, you really enhanced a great night and contributed significantly to the immense success of the evening. The Alive Network website provided a user friendly, straightforward and professional booking process and it was reassuring to have the support and backing of a reputable agency to book a band through.   Rebecca was excellent to deal with: she responded to our enquiries quickly and very efficiently. The fact that Rebecca contacted us by phone rather than sending only a standard email response was really helpful and was something that none of the other agencies did. The level of service that Rebecca provided gave us great confidence that the booking would go accordingly to plan and was a major factor in us choosing Alive and The Quartones. The Quartones were excellent. All our guests commented on how fantastic they were. We wanted a real jazz quartet - not a cheesy wedding covers band calling themselves a jazz band (we found plenty of those) and The Quartones really delivered on that front: they presented very well; musically they were great; and their selection of songs fitted our event perfectly. After booking The Quartones, we barely had to do anything to manage the band, they arrived on time, set up quickly without any dramas and played brilliantly. We would highly recommend The Quartones.
